Wild Thing's New Wall

Ha! I DID finish Wild Thing's wall! And I finished it THURSDAY! HA! I laugh in the face of procrastination. I taunt my proclivity for putting things off. Wait, I think that's just saying the same thing twice. Anyway, I present to you...THE NEW WALL!

Let me be the first to give you a little advice about painting circles. Run Away. Run very fast in the other direction. Make up any excuse you need to, but do not agree to paint the circles. Or at least not the way I did it. If you must paint circles (and, if you have a little girl who saw the Lizzie McGuire room makeover on the Disney paint cards at Home Depot, then you must) then do them the way they tell you to on the card. As in, cut circles out of plastic, tape them to the wall like a stencil, then paint inside the cut out circle. Voila! Instant circle (I'm guessing here because this is not how I painted my circles.) Do not, under any circumstances, paint the circles they way I did. I followed my mother's adamant advice that I use different sizes of bowls to trace circles onto the wall and then paint them in. For the love of all your free time and your carpal tunnel syndrome do not do this. You have been warned.

Oh, and make sure the third color of paint you plan to use--the one you didn't buy because you're sure you have it because it's what you used to paint the other walls five years ago--is not hard as a freakin' rock. If you don't check on that, you'll end up using another color you have that is supposed to be yellow-y green (and match the little armoire) but dries almost as white as the cream you used.
