My Crafty Weekend

OK, I said I'd have pictures and I do. Here are the stockings my mom and I worked on a few weeks ago. I finally got all the bells sewn on to Wild Thing's. The only thing I did on the dragon stocking is sew the black stocking part together. All the dragon and fire stuff was done by my mom because she's crafty and imaginative like that.

And here are the stockings I made for teacher gifts this year. Mrs. Meh's turned out the best. Mrs. Too-pretty-and-smart-oh-my-god-do-her-legs-ever-end is getting the sad little Arkansas stocking. Just so you know, I'm going to make her a better, prettier one. Max is dead set on gifting her with the Arkansas one, but it's really hideous in person. I didn't do a great job (it was my first time improvising, after all; I did learn some important lessons, though).

Inside the teacher stocking will be a tin of cookies that the kiddos will bake. Oh yeah, that reminds me. I have to go make aprons.
