Suburban Turmoil and Petroville host a monthly carnival called The Perfect Post Awards. Each month they invite us to choose our favorite post from another blogger and award that blogger with a Perfect Post banner. This month I am awarding Kelly at Pass The Torch for her post entitled Wish It Could Have Been More.
Kelly's post about her grandmother struck a chord with me. Although her memories are unique to her, I found that I shared similar memories of my own grandmothers. Now that I have lost one of my grandmothers, Kelly's recollections pulled at my heart as I remembered certain things my Grandma Isiphine did. By the time Kelly shared how she honored her grandmother at her wedding I was crying.
Kelly, you wrote a fine tribute to your grandmother. She would undoubtedly be proud. You deserve the December Perfect Post Award. Congratulations.
